Photon Kinetics Expands Direct Sales and Support Capability to Japan

August 10, 2004 - Photon Kinetics, the world leading supplier of test
solutions for optical fiber and cable manufacturers and provider of OEM test instrumentation,
announced today that it has opened a branch office in metropolitan Tokyo. The new office will
provide direct sales and customer support in Japan for PK’s measurement and automation
products as of August 1, 2004.
